The boat in the picture reminds me of the
“Big Izzy” which sits at a boat dock just off Route 66 in Kellyville, OK. I sailed into port there one day and stayed for about 10 years. The boat is still there but the natives have left.
For each of us, I believe the sunsets hold the knowledge that tomorrow is just around the corner and the greatest treasure of all is right where we are at. (My mother says “at” is not correct. She is probably is right. However, she never has been able to tell me anything and I just consider it my artistic expression!)
